Avoca V.F.D. was established in 1959 to serve our community, our county, and all who need our assistance. We are proud of the support that we have received since the department’s inception and hope that your tour through our web site will help you to understand us and our mission. AVOCA Fire Department is again teaming up with Dominoes Pizza. On April 3rd and April 6th between the hours of 6 PM and 9 PM, anyone residing in AVOCA's fire district that orders a pizza from Dominoes, can ask to have it delivered by Firemen in a Fire Truck.  Upon delivery, if you choose, the Firemen will test your smoke detector, and if it is found in good working condition, your pizza is free. If you do not have a smoke detector, or your smoke detector is found to be faulty, the firemen will install a new smoke detector free of charge.
